Food For Angels – Lingonberry Jam and Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 Cookies (ginger or your choice)
  • 2/3 cup Lingonberry jam
  • 1 1/2 cup Whipped cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar

Instructions
 

  • Smash the cookies into crumbs.
  • Combine whipped cream together with vanilla sugar.
  • Add a layer of cookie crumbs to the bottom of a glass or dish.
  • Add a layer of lingonberry jam on top of cookie crumbs.
  • Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the lingonberry jam.
  • Add another layer of cookie crumbs, jam, and cream.

Notes

How to make vanilla sugar:
  • Slice 2 vanilla beans in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
  • Add along with 2 cups sugar in a food processor and pulse until well incorporated.
  • Pour into jars or a large airtight container.
  • Submerge the reserved vanilla pods into the sugar.
