Food For Angels – Lingonberry Jam and Cream
Cookie crumbs with whipped cream and lingonberry jam in layers.
Ingredients
- 8-10 Cookies (ginger or your choice)
- 2/3 cup Lingonberry jam
- 1 1/2 cup Whipped cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
Instructions
- Smash the cookies into crumbs.
- Combine whipped cream together with vanilla sugar.
- Add a layer of cookie crumbs to the bottom of a glass or dish.
- Add a layer of lingonberry jam on top of cookie crumbs.
- Add a layer of whipped cream on top of the lingonberry jam.
- Add another layer of cookie crumbs, jam, and cream.
Notes
How to make vanilla sugar:
- Slice 2 vanilla beans in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- Add along with 2 cups sugar in a food processor and pulse until well incorporated.
- Pour into jars or a large airtight container.
- Submerge the reserved vanilla pods into the sugar.
